Job Description Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION Under the
guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical
Technician (EMT), supports operation, inspection, and maintenance
processes from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for all
production equipment and systems within the facility. The position
is responsible for repairing and installing advanced
production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper
functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per
manufacturer’s specifications. May mentor and provide support to
less experienced mechanics. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and
makes more complicated repairs or adjustments as needed. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform preventative maintenance on
more advanced/sophisticated production equipment. Perform repairs
on more advanced production equipment as needed. Perform breakdown
analysis. Oversee or perform general housekeeping and upgrade
production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology. Direct
activities of outside contractors working on assigned line. Change
line for package changeovers. Enforce GMP, safety, and audit
standards. Work independently under limited supervision
(self-management) Documentation of work schedule and work tasks
completed. Respond effectively to all emergencies. Comply with all
safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work
areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to
eliminate them. Complies with all policies for the safe storage,
usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Participate in ongoing
technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment and maintains
compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed,
using work order system. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES n/a
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate’ or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Ability to work flexible
schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or
holidays. Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office
(Including Outlook, Word, Excel). EXPERIENCE Completion of an
applicable technical training program. 3 years of applicable
working experience in equipment maintenance, basic electrical and
troubleshooting practices. 2 years of experience in the operation
and maintenance of a large-scale manufacturing facility Possess
mechanical and electrical aptitude. A successful candidate must be
self-motivated who can work independently or in a team. Ability to
seek outside resources as needed. Excellent communication skills

action. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS Incumbent must be able to
operate a computer. Lift/carry 40lb. or less, push/pull 12lbs. or
less. Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over
their head. This position may require extended periods of sitting,
standing, and walking. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when
necessary. May require travel. Associates will be required to take
all appropriate training classes as required. Willingness to
cross-train into other departments. A shift: 6:00am-2:30pm B shift:
2:00pm-10:30pm C shift: 10:00pm-6:30am
