Job Description:
Fidelity Investments seeks a Principal Rust Engineer to lead our
tech development teams in implementing and optimizing secure and
scalable systems. This role focuses on driving technical innovation
using Rust, ensuring that our financial services technology stack
not only meets the current industry standards but surpasses them.
The ideal candidate will helm projects from conception to
deployment, interfacing directly with strategic planners and
stakeholders across multiple platforms. Develop and architect
high-performance systems using Rust. Lead cross-functional teams
through product lifecycle from concept to deployment. Optimize
existing systems for scalability and reliability. Maintain and
enforce best practices in systems security and data protection.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into
technical specifications. Mentor junior engineers and team members.
Expertise in Rust programming. Strong understanding of systems
architecture and design. Experience with distributed systems and
microservices. Proficiency in software development best practices
and Agile methodologies. Strong leadership and communication
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM,
PMI-ACP) is preferred. Rust programming certification (if
available).
