LRS has prospered for over 30 years because our corporate
philosophy embraces honest, ethical and hard-working people. If
that describes your approach to IT consulting, we need to talk! LRS
Consulting Services is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a
contract to hire opportunity with our client in Lewisville, TX.
Position Summary This role seeks a Technical Business Analyst with
a strong background in software development and the ability to
manage technical requirements for an AI-driven B2B platform. The
ideal candidate will excel in organizing tasks, tracking
dependencies, and communicating effectively with both technical
teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of features and
updates. Broad Software Background: Experience in a software
development environment is required. This could be in a tech
company or in the IT department of a non-software company – the key
is having a solid understanding of how software is built and
delivered in a business context. Technical Skills Technical
Proficiency: Familiarity with software development processes and
technologies (e.g. understanding of web/cloud applications, APIs,
databases, etc.). You don’t need to be a coder, but you must be
comfortable discussing technical details and constraints with
engineering teams. AI and B2B Insight: Prior exposure to AI-driven
products or machine learning concepts is a plus (not strictly
required). More importantly, you should understand B2B software
dynamics – how enterprise customers use software and how their
requirements are gathered and managed. Responsibilities Manage
Requirements: Organize, clarify, and prioritize technical
requirements for our AI-driven B2B software platform. This includes
translating high-level ideas into clear tasks for the development
team and ensuring everyone understands the goals. Track
Dependencies & Commitments: Keep track of project dependencies and
deadlines. Ensure that commitments made to customers (features,
integrations, bug fixes) are met on schedule. You’ll coordinate
with multiple teams to remove roadblocks and stay on top of
deliverables. Customer Updates: Serve as a point of contact for
customers regarding product updates. Provide regular status updates
on promised features and fixes, maintaining transparency and
managing expectations. When delays or changes occur, you will
communicate proactively and tactfully with customers. Cross-Team
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and field
teams to align technical improvements with business needs. You’ll
act as a bridge between customer-facing teams (sales, customer
success, etc.) and the development team – ensuring that customer
feedback and business priorities are reflected in the product
roadmap. Preferred Attributes Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented:
You excel at keeping track of many moving parts. Nothing falls
through the cracks on your watch – you document requirements
clearly, follow up on action items, and ensure everyone is aware of
their responsibilities. Startup Mentality: Comfortable in a
fast-paced startup environment. You can adapt to changing
priorities and wear multiple hats when needed. A proactive
self-starter attitude is essential. Strong Communicator: Excellent
problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex
technical information in a straightforward manner. You can converse
equally well with engineers about technical details and with
customers about business outcomes. Balanced Perspective: Ability to
balance technical considerations with business priorities. You
understand when a quick workaround is acceptable and when a robust
long-term solution is necessary, always keeping customer
satisfaction and product quality in mind. LRS is an equal
opportunity employer. Applicants for employment will receive
consideration without unlawful discrimination based on race, color,
religion, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital
status, gender identity, domestic partner status, sexual
orientation, genetic information, citizenship status or protected
veteran status.
