Job Description:
LM MFC is looking to add new talent to our PAC-3 program Hardware In The Loop. Strong communication skills are needed in order to coordinate and execute PAC-3 testing activities in Andover, MA. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the real-time simulation, user interface, device driver, display, and data collection code. Responsibilities will also include operations and software development from requirement analysis to integration in a prototype environment. This role is established to identify and resolve software engineering related issues to ensure that the software under test is designed and developed to achieve overall product objectives and program requirements. This position will be responsible to coordinate with project engineers, program leaders, and other organizational elements to identify and mitigate risk and to ensure all program specific requirements and objectives are understood and achieved.

This position is in Andover, MA supporting PAC-3 testing at a Raytheon facility. The individual selected for this position will train in Grand Prairie, Tx and work remotely on TDY in Andover, MA. Travel to Grand Prairie, Tx will be made on an as needed basis.

Grand Prairie is part of the "Mid-Cities" region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL)/Closed-Loop development and testing
Experience with C and C++ programming languages
VxWorks/Linux
Development in Real-Time Operating Systems environment
Desired Skills:
-GNC algorithm sw development/implementation;
-Experience with GitLab and JIRA
-Experience working with radio frequency systems on a chip (RF SoC)
-Experience working with multiprocessor system on a chip (MP SoC)
