Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Rehab RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701! Job Title: Registered
Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 8
weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years
preferred License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in a rehabilitation
setting Ability to float to different units as needed Description:
Provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from significant
medical events. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to
develop individualized care plans. Emphasize family involvement and
education in the recovery process. Utilize advanced rehabilitation
technologies and evidence-based practices. Ensure patient safety,
dignity, and respect in all aspects of care. Maintain a patient
ratio of 1:7. May float to long-term acute care or other units to
manage patients. Work with patients including those recovering from
strokes, orthopedic surgeries, brain injuries, and other
debilitating conditions. Assist in regaining patients’ highest
level of independence and functionality. Conduct patient
assessments, administer medications, and provide wound care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety
protocols. Engage in effective communication with patients,
families, and team members. Foster a supportive environment for
