HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Care Specialist (PRN) to join our dynamic respiratory team. As an integral member of the healthcare team, you'll deliver first-rate respiratory therapy services aligning with our emphasis on exceptional patient-centered care. Assess patient respiratory functions and analyze patient diagnostic data to determine requirements for respiratory treatment. Develop and implement tailored respiratory care plans based on the patient’s health status and specific needs. Operate and monitor respiratory equipment such as ventilators and CPAP machines. Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment as part of the continuum of care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to align on patient care strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations. Proficient in using respiratory therapy equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of proper hygiene and safety practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or other recognized programs.
