Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (PRN Tier 2) to serve in our Intermediate Care Unit. Monitor and record patients' condition and document care provided Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques Prepare equipment and aids physicians during treatment and examination of patients Educate patients and their families on illness and injury prevention Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient outcomes Proven ability to operate medical equipment and instruments Strong clinical reasoning and judgment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective work in a team and with various patient demographics Capability to handle physical workload and multitask in a high-pressure environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is preferred
