Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated
Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high acuity nursing care to
patients in their homes. This position entails delivering advanced
medical care and support to patients with complex needs, ensuring
they achieve their maximum wellness potential in a familiar and
comfortable setting. As part of a committed healthcare team, you
will work closely with other healthcare professionals to administer
treatments, manage clinical outcomes, and provide compassionate
care tailored to individual patient needs. Assess patient
conditions during every visit and chart your observations. Perform
evaluation tasks, including vital checks and medication review.
Administer and manage medication regimes, complex therapies, and
other specialized needs. Educate patients and their families on
proper home health care strategies and procedures. Coordinate with
physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and
evaluate customized care plans. Respond to emergencies and
unexpected patient situations effectively. Maintain accurate
patient medical records and report any significant changes in
patient condition to relevant professionals. Proficient in high
acuity care environments. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience with
electronic patient health record systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of practice. CPR certified. Advanced
practice certifications preferred but not required.
