Summary:

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled -Occupational Therapist (OT) -to join our rehabilitation team in -Sulphur Springs, TX. This position offers a dynamic mix of -inpatient and outpatient -therapy services, providing the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. -CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Sulphur Springs -is a state-of-the-art critical access hospital recognized for providing exceptional care in a close-knit, community-centered environment. The hospital offers advanced imaging, surgical services, a 24/7 emergency department, and a comprehensive rehabilitation program, ensuring that the patients receive high-quality care close to home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges.
  
  
  • Provide -both inpatient and outpatient therapy services, tailoring interventions to each patient's needs.
    
    
    • Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' functional abilities in daily activities.
      
      
      • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
        
        
        • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home exercise programs.
          
          
          • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines.
            
            
            • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and CHRISTUS Health standards.
              
              Requirements:
              
              
              • Education: -Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
                
                
                • Licensure: -Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain).
                  
                  
                  • Certifications: -Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
                    
                    
                    • Experience: -Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
                      
                      
                      • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
