Job Description Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and
driven Program Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand
Prairie, TX. You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for the ATACMS
team. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be
responsible for interfacing with Production, Shop Floor Quality
Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering, investigating non
conformance issues, organizing and tracking hardware quality audits
and FAIs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your
responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: •
Interfacing with Production, Shop Floor Quality Engineering, and
Manufacturing Engineering and customers. • Lead investigations of
non conformance issues and Provide technical data and analysis to
support engineering investigations and root cause/corrective
preventive actions. • Drive closure of non conformance reports, and
contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings. • Engage in product
failure investigations, material review board decisions and
corrective/preventive action. • Organizing and tracking Hardware
Quality Audits (HQAs) and First Article Inspections (FAIs) •
Participating in product, process, and surveillance
audits/assessments to identify improvement opportunities • Leading
corrective/preventive actions based on findings and look ahead
activities • The position requires previous quality engineering
experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods,
work instructions and procedures for the development of
manufactured and procured products. • Individual should be a
self-starter, with an attention to detail, who can work
autonomously with minimal direction in a fast-paced dynamic
environment. • Duties may include: Performance at suppliers of
scheduled product source inspections, first articles, and product
validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and
industry standards. • Support Supplier requests tied to program
requirements, interface with customer needs and program management
activities Participate (as required) in supplier's
failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board(MRB) activities. Why

candidate must be able to obtain Secret clearance. Basic
Qualifications Ability to travel up to 25% of the time STEM degree
in Bachelors or higher, or equivalent experience Must have ability
to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance Experience
solving complex problems associated with the quality of products
and in Quality Management processes / capable of performing root
cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Desired skills STEM degree in Bachelors or
higher preferred Previous quality experience in reviewing quality
standards, methods, work instructions and procedures Ability to
interpret drawings and specifications Experience with control and
disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board) Lean
/ Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified
Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Effective interpersonal
skills, including team building and collaboration Effective
communication skills - written, oral, listening, and presentation
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong
problem-solving skills SAP / ERP, SharePoint and Tableau or other
business intelligence software experience Strong familiarity with
Production Operations Experience with Program Office / Customer
Interaction, preferably DOD An understanding of Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Thorough understanding in
AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Must be able to
effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations,

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not

work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
