HIRING DIESEL MECHANICS FOR OUR BRAND-NEW VENUS, TX FACILITY!


(Must live within 60 miles of Venus, TX)

We Offer:

• Hourly pay rate: $21 - $38 (based on experience level)

• Schedule: Monday Friday with Saturday rotation
  
• Shift: 8+ hours per day (anything over 40 hours is considered O.T.)

  • $2 incentive for second shift! (Typical second shift schedule is 2pm-11pm)

    Job Responsibilities:
    
    • 
      
    • DOT inspections
      
    • OSHA compliance in the shop
      
    • Safety compliance in the shop
      
    • Tool management & maintenance
      
    • Equipment preventive maintenance
      
    • Equipment repairs
      
    • Completion of repairs in a timely manner
      
    • Identifying and reporting of driver abuse of equipment
      
    • Upper-level mechanic positions are required to mentor entry level mechanics.
      
      
      
      Qualifications:
      
      • 
        
      • Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Preferred)
        
      • Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
        
      • Entry-level positions available
        
        • 
          
        • Must have recent Diesel Mechanic certification from a technical school OR 1-2 years prior TRUCK Diesel Mechanic experience
          
          
        • ASE certification (Preferred)
          
        • Certifications on Cummins and Detroit engines (Preferred)
          
        • Must live within 60 miles of Venus, TX
          
        • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
          
        • Flexibility/availability for ad hoc needs on an as needed basis
          
        • Strong Knowledge of DOT Compliance requirements for equipment
          
        • Ability to work in a high volume, high output environment
          
        • Strong electronic skills
          
        • Strong trouble shooting skills
