Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
speech and language support to students across K-12 schools in
Arlington, TX, this contract role is suited for experienced
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking to make a meaningful
impact within an educational setting. The assignment is full-time
(40 hours/week), with part-time considerations possible, and
requires onsite presence at designated school locations. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy
services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade -
Manage caseloads that vary by school site, including Elementary (40
and 8 students), Middle School (65 students), and High School (85
students) - Collaborate with school staff and families to develop
and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) - Maintain
accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with
school district requirements - Adhere to licensing and ethical
standards governing speech-language pathology practice in
educational environments Desired Qualifications and Experience: -
Active State License in Speech-Language Pathology - Preferred
certification: SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) - Newly
certified clinicians must arrange supervision prior to starting;
supervision is not provided by the district - Ability to
effectively engage with children across different age groups and
educational levels - Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
to work within a school setting Assignment Details: - Locations:
Multiple schools within Arlington, TX (including elementary,
middle, and high schools) - Duration: Contract position beginning
immediately with assignment end dates between March and May -
